Sleev-it Fire Systems Ltd, are a leading supplier of both construction and marine penetration seals for use with plastic pipes.
Our original aims were to make fire collars simple to install and inexpensive to purchase.

Construction

Sleev-it fire collars and pipe wraps have full test evidence to BS 476 Part 20; 1987 as well as having full test approvals to French and Polish standards.

Our test evidence from Warrington Fire Research Centre, BRE, CTiCM and ITB Poland is second to none, and we are one of the very few manufacturers who can offer fully tested and approved products with guaranteed test evidence, and continuity in the use of intumescent materials such as Intumex and TRP 345.

Marine

Sleev-it marine fire collars are used in shipyards worldwide for either new build projects or refitting programmes.

Our aim for the marine industry is to reduce the purchasing and labour costs to shipbuilders and repair yards, for fire stopping plastic pipes when used for potable, grey and black water services.

Compared with most of our competitors, whose systems require the full welding of steel sleeves (transits) to either deck or bulkhead, the Sleev-it system is simplicity itself.

Most of our competitor’s products require operations to both sides of the deck/bulkhead to insert their respective systems. The Sleev-it fire collar is installed from one side only.
The installer just opens the Sleev-it fire collar, clips it around the pipe, and then spot welds the Sleev-it collar directly to one side of the deck/bulkhead.

No extra insulation or sealants are required.

In this growing market, Sleev-it Fire Systems Ltd will continue to assist both the shipbuilder and the plastic pipe manufacturers, by designing and testing the Sleev-it range of fire collars to adapt to future demands.
